Projects, sprints and dependencies

Tasks that unlock themselves when the one before is done.

Say a task starts when another one is done. Until then it stays quietly blocked; when the previous one is finished, it unlocks, lets you know and shows up in “Up next”. You only see what you can do right now.

What you get

The usual, plus what was missing

Board, list, calendar and sprints like any other manager. On top of that, tasks that know how to wait, and progress per project and per sprint.

Up next

One view with only what you can do now. Blocked tasks don't show up, so there's nothing to filter or decide.

Starts when … is done

Chain tasks together, even across projects. When the previous one is marked as done, the next unlocks and lets you know.

Board, list and calendar

Three ways to look at the same thing. Drag a card between columns or drop it on a day in the calendar.

Dependency map

The whole chain at a glance: what waits for what, where it gets stuck and what unlocks when each task is finished.

Sprints

Group work by week or fortnight. When you close a sprint, whatever was left moves to the next one without touching anything.

Google Drive

Paste links to Drive documents, sheets or folders in each task. They're recognised automatically and stay one click away.

How it works

Three steps and the project moves on its own

No need to check every morning what can be started: tokidu knows.

  1. Write down the tasks

Jot them down quickly, in the right project and sprint. Date, owner and links are optional.

  2. Say what comes after what

In a task, choose starts when … is done and point to the previous one. It stays blocked, quietly, and out of “Up next”.

  3. Finish and move on

Mark a task as done. The ones waiting for it unlock themselves, let you know, and “Up next” updates.

FAQ

What people usually ask

What happens when I finish a task that others depend on?

They unlock themselves the moment you mark the previous one as done, show up in “Up next” and we let you know. If a task was waiting for several, it unlocks when the last one is done. And if you reopen the previous one, it gets blocked again.

Is it free?

Yes. The Free plan is forever and needs no card: 2 projects, up to 60 open tasks and every view, including dependencies, sprints and the map. You can also try the demo without creating an account.

What are the limits of each plan?

Free: 2 active projects, 60 open tasks at a time and just you. Pro: unlimited projects and tasks, and up to 5 people to assign tasks to. Team: the same as Pro with no limit on people; shared projects are coming soon. Done tasks don't count.

How do Google Drive links work?

Paste the link to a document, sheet or folder in the task and tokidu recognises it as Drive and shows it with its icon. We don't ask for access to your Drive or copy files: we only keep the link. In Pro and Team you can also pin a Drive folder per project.

Does it work for teams?

In Free you work alone. In Pro you can assign tasks to up to 5 people. With Team you'll soon be able to share projects with other accounts, decide who can edit and see the change history, at a flat price instead of paying per seat.

How do I cancel?

From “Account”, in one click and with no lock-in. You keep the plan until the end of the period you've already paid for, and then the account goes back to Free. We delete nothing: your projects and tasks stay right there.
