tokidu is a project manager from Sinergia Barcelona built on one simple idea: “this task starts when that one is done”. From that it knows what you can do now, what is waiting and when the project will end.
The idea
Almost every project has tasks that can't start until another one is done: a leaflet doesn't go to the printer before the copy is checked. In tokidu you say that once, with “Starts when … is done”, and the task waits quietly.
When the previous one is marked done, the next one unlocks by itself, lets you know and shows up in “Up next”, a view with only what you can do now.
Tell it how long each task takes and tokidu works out when each one and the whole project will finish, and tells you what misses its deadline. “Why that date?” explains where every date comes from.
Who makes it
tokidu is a product of Sinergia Barcelona, which builds and runs it. What is published here is signed by the tokidu team.

Where it stands
- The Free plan works today and needs no card: 2 projects, dependencies, a Gantt chart and sprints. You can try the demo without an account.
- Pro, Team and Max aren't on sale yet. Pricing shows what each will include and its planned price.
- The iPhone and iPad app is coming soon to the App Store. In the meantime everything works in the browser, on your phone too.
